Sustainathon

RemTech Europe is pleased to present Sustainathon 2026, a global virtual marathon dedicated to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event will bring together speakers from across the world in a continuous online format spanning multiple time zones. Throughout the marathon, participants will share inspiring insights, successful initiatives, and innovative approaches that highlight progress towards one or more of the 17 SDGs.

The programme will be structured to ensure global participation, with sessions scheduled to accommodate different regions. Each segment will feature contributions from government representatives, public authorities, researchers, and leading experts, offering a truly international perspective.

Sessions will include short, focused presentations followed by interactive Q&A, creating space for dialogue and exchange. Moderators from prominent national and international organisations will guide the discussions, introduce speakers, and engage with the audience.

As the event moves across time zones, speakers will join during their local daytime hours, creating a dynamic “relay” format that reflects the global nature of the initiative.

Sustainathon 2026 aims to showcase impactful stories and practical solutions from around the world—experiences that can inspire replication and adaptation in different contexts. By sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration, the event seeks to contribute to building a more sustainable and resilient future.

Participation will be free of charge, register here as attendant or as a speaker (if you want to be a speaker, put it into the notes): https://forms.gle/KTuqv8Xu32rSc6M56
